ABOUT US

The Coat of Arms of Scotland is a cozy Scottish restaurant in the center of Hooghalen. A catering facility has been established in this building since 1900. Since August 1, 2008, Petra and Kees Mulder are the owners.

Built around 1900 as a farm. The farm/lodging of Geert Kuiper was rebuilt in 1914 and renovated after a fire. After this renovation, the back house has remained the same. The side wall of the house was also able to remain intact. The front house was replaced and given an upper floor with five guest rooms.

In our restaurant we have a whiskey bar that you don't see much in the Netherlands. We have nearly 600 different varieties and from all over the world,

Terrace

In the summer months, the terrace is a popular afternoon resting place for walkers, cyclists and motorcyclists. You can dine indoors all year round and, weather permitting, you can also dine on the terrace, in front of the restaurant overlooking old thatched farmhouses.
